Portrait of a woman I met in Australia with very distinct features and expressions. She graciously agreed to let me take a picture of her so I could make this portrait. I have an excellent picture of her laughing which I will probably paint as well.
This picture was more to try and capture her expression and the essence of her character than to be wildly imaginative with the overall content or theme. Though in the next one I will get much more exotic with the setting.

Painted entirely in Photoshop with only a few custom brushes.

Any character critiques or integration with the background etc would be most appreciated.
