A friend and I were talking about all the psychological chains you end up with in life. The ones imposed on you and the ones you end up developing yourself. And how they can really hurt you and hold you back and wither you spiritually. Thus the chakras with their week sickly glow. Sort of all representative of the inner turmoil people can end up carrying as internal scars for the rest of your life. And the repressed anger shown by the scream. The blindfold represents how it is often hard to even see all the ways we are tied down emotionally.
