Maya for the background and Photoshop for the painted nose art.
I was trying to emulate the nose art of WW2 bombers. And handle the painted portion in a style simillar to Gil Elvgren's pin up work. To highten the contrast between the nose art and the bomber nose it's on, I decided to handle the nose art in a painterly maner only and the bomber nose only in 3d.
